Welcome to Oncoly! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Oncoly's Application (MVP, Sweden).

1. Eligibility

You confirm you are 16+ and a resident of Sweden.

2. Community & Medical Guidance

Oncoly provides informational support only—no medical advice or test interpretation. Coaches and members must not diagnose, treat, or interpret medical tests. For personal medical questions, contact your care team; emergencies: call 112.

Important: Oncoly is not a substitute for professional medical care.

All information is for general educational and supportive purposes. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in Oncoly.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Share only content you own or may lawfully share; no illegal/harmful content.
  • Do not post personal contact details or others' private info publicly.
  • Use respectful language; discrimination, harassment, and misinformation are prohibited.

4. Moderation & Reporting

We may edit/remove content and limit/suspend accounts that breach these Terms or our Community Rules. Use Report to flag issues; you may block/mute users. You can appeal moderation decisions at dev@oncoly.se.

5. Data & Privacy

Your personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

MVP Testing Consent

1. Purpose of the Test

This consent confirms your voluntary participation in the Oncoly MVP (Minimum Viable Product) test, which aims to collect usability feedback on the Community and Content Hub features. The test is not medical research and does not involve processing medical or sensitive health data.

2. What Participation Involves

  • Creating an Oncoly test account (name + email).
  • Exploring Community and Content Hub features.
  • Providing optional feedback via survey or email.
  • Duration: approx. 2–4 weeks.
  • You may withdraw at any time without consequences.

3. Data Handling and Confidentiality

  • Data collected: name, email, and app interaction logs (no health data).
  • Data purpose: evaluate usability and performance.
  • Storage: secure EU servers; data deleted within 90 days after testing.
  • The test follows GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (contractual necessity) and Art. 5(1)(c) (data minimisation).
  • No data will be shared with third parties.

4. Risks and Benefits

  • No physical or psychological risks are expected.
  • You may stop using the app at any time.
  • Benefits: you contribute to developing a future digital support tool for oncology patients.

5. Voluntary Participation Statement

I understand that my participation in the Oncoly MVP test is voluntary and not part of any clinical or medical trial.

I may withdraw at any time and request deletion of my data.

I understand that Oncoly is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

Community Rules & Guidelines

1. Purpose

The Oncoly Community is a safe digital space for cancer survivors, patients, and relatives to share experiences, reflections, and encouragement. It is not a medical consultation forum and should never replace professional healthcare advice.

2. Respect & Tone

  • Be kind, empathetic, and supportive.
  • Avoid discrimination, hate speech, harassment, or personal attacks.
  • Respect different perspectives and cultural backgrounds.
  • No promotion of treatments, supplements, or therapies as "cures."

3. Content & Posting

  • Share only your own stories, opinions, or insights.
  • You may post long-form reflections ("blog-style posts") or respond to others with comments or emoji reactions.
  • Do not share identifiable information about others (patients, clinicians, institutions).
  • Avoid uploading personal medical documents or test results during the MVP phase.
  • You may link to reliable information (e.g., WHO, Cancer Research UK), but avoid marketing links.

4. Health Information Disclaimer

The community is peer-to-peer, not verified by medical professionals.

  • Do not offer or request medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment advice.
  • Posts claiming medical benefits may be removed by moderators.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Your profile data (name, email, optional avatar) is stored securely according to Oncoly's Privacy Policy.
  • The MVP version does not collect or display sensitive medical data.
  • Never post information you would not share publicly.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

Moderators may:

  • Edit, lock, or remove posts that breach these rules.
  • Mute users (read-only mode) for repeated minor issues.
  • Ban users for severe or repeated violations (hate speech, misinformation, personal attacks, promotion of dangerous content).

Muted or banned users will see a clear notice and can appeal via dev@oncoly.se.

7. Reporting & Support

Use the "Report" button or email dev@oncoly.se to flag inappropriate content or behaviour. Moderation actions are documented internally for transparency.

8. Beta Status Notice

This Community operates under the Oncoly MVP test environment. Posts and comments may be removed during updates or after the testing period.

By using the Community, you confirm you understand and agree to these Guidelines.

Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of Sweden.
